Jesus told his followers that where two or more people are gathered together in my name, that He is there in the midst of them. Be believe that God created us to be in community and
Believe in Jesus
Everyone is on a spiritual journey, and the first step of that journey starts with faith. We believe that Jesus is God, Jesus is good, Jesus is God, Jesus took on the sins of the world, Jesus died on a cross for us, and Jesus defeated death when he rose again after three days in the grave. Scripture tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn from Scripture, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. Everyone is welcome.
Become Like Jesus
Dallas Willard now famously said, “Arrange your life so that you are experiencing deep contentment, joy and confidence in your everyday life with God.” God didn’t call believers but rather disciples or apprentices that order their lives around His son Jesus by laying down our lives, picking up our crosses, and following Jesus.
Do What Jesus Did
Jesus invites his followers to be the type of people who would do the things that Jesus did by second nature not grudgingly or out of obligation. Jesus is looking for a church that loves God and loves people, which is the thing that motivates everything we do.
